MG Motor India has finally revealed the specifications of the MG Cyberster, its forthcoming premium electric roadster, ahead of its launch in January 2025. The Cyberster, unveiled globally at Auto Shanghai 2023 and showcased in India in March 2024, will be sold through MG Select, a dedicated sales network for MG’s premium offerings.
MG Cyberster features
The India-spec Cyberster will feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, delivering a combined output of 528 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. With this powertrain, the two-door electric roadster boasts a lightning-fast 0-100 kmph time of 3.2 seconds. A 77 kWh battery pack powers the car, offering an impressive range of 580 km on a single charge.
The Cyberster’s design combines cutting-edge technology and luxury. It includes electronically operated scissor doors and a folding soft-top roof tucked behind roll bars. Inside, drivers are treated to a futuristic cabin featuring three driver-focused touchscreens: a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment display, and a 7-inch auxiliary touchscreen.
