MG Motor India is set to launch the highly anticipated MG Cyberster electric sports car in the Indian market, with its debut scheduled for the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The electric vehicle (EV) will be available in four vibrant color options: English White, Cosmic Silver, Inca Yellow, and Dynamic Red. This model marks the beginning of the brand’s new sub-brand, MG Select, which promises a fresh approach to sales and service experiences.
MG Cyberster features
The MG Cyberster is a sleek, high-performance sports car built on the same platform as the 2017 E-Motion coupe concept. The vehicle boasts distinctive design elements, including sharp cuts, LED headlights, and scissor doors. Its dynamic exterior is complemented by 19- to 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and arrow-shaped tail lights.
Under the hood, the MG Cyberster packs a powerful 77kWh battery paired with dual electric motors, generating 510hp and 725Nm of torque. The AWD system allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a 580 km range on a single charge. The car’s advanced suspension system ensures exceptional stability at high speeds, supported by a 50:50 weight distribution.
Inside, the MG Cyberster offers cutting-edge technology, featuring a vertically stacked infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, and a premium Bose audio system. It also includes safety features like Level-2 ADAS and regenerative braking.
