Mercedes-Benz India is set to reveal prices for the EQS Maybach electric SUV on September 5. The EQS Maybach SUV, which debuted in China last year, will join the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV in the brand’s India lineup.
Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV Features
Similar to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS that just went on sale in India, the Maybach EQS SUV has chrome highlights on the outside and several Maybach logos all around. It features a sealed-off black panel at the front that resembles a grille – this huge panel contains radar sensors for ADAS and vertical chrome strips that give it a 3D appearance.
The Maybach EQS 680 SUV’s interior features a three-screen “MBUX Hyperscreen” infotainment system with Maybach-exclusive themes and colourways. The SUV’s standard features include two 11.6-inch displays for the passengers in the backseat, an MBUX rear tablet that can be used outside of the car and rear executive seats with ventilation, a massage function and heating for the neck and shoulders.
While the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV has two electric powertrain options in other markets, only the top-spec 680 variant will be available in India. It comes with 4Matic AWD technology as standard and can produce up to 658hp and 950Nm of torque.
