Mercedes-Benz’s EQA electric car is expected to debut in India on July 8. It will be offered in just one configuration: 250+. Bookings for the electric hatchback are open for a token amount of ₹ 1.5 lakh. The Mercedes-Benz EQA’s pricing is still unknown. However, it will be the most affordable electric vehicle that the premium brand would offer in India.
As reported by HT Auto, the electric motor, which sits on the front axle, is capable of delivering 187 bhp of maximum power and 385 Nm of maximum torque. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 km/h.
While DC charging from 10% to 80% only takes 35 minutes, the 70.5 kWh battery pack on duty requires 7 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge. In the global marketplace, Mercedes-Benz offers dual-motor models and a smaller battery pack with a capacity of 66.5 kWh.
There will be seven different colours available for the Mercedes EQA. The colours would be Spectral Blue, Polar White, High-Tech Silver, Cosmos Black and Mountain Grey. Then there are unique Manufaktur paints like Mountain Grey Magno and Patagonia Grey.
The Burmester sound system, twin 10-inch displays, puddle lamps, illuminated door sills, heads-up display, and 360-degree camera are among the features of the EQA. Additionally, there are gesture controls, adaptive high beam assist, connected car technology, active parking assistance and many other features.
