Matter Group has announced that delivery of their Aera motorbike will begin during the festive season of 2024. It is crucial to note that the deliveries were initially scheduled to start in Q1 2024. Matter Aera is the first electric motorbike with gears that need the rider to shift between. The electric motorbike is available in two variants: 5000 and 5000+. Both are priced at ₹1.74 lakh and ₹1.84 lakh. The prices are ex-showroom.

Next year, the company intends to release two more variations. A 10 kW (13.4 bhp) electric motor powers the 5000 and 5000+ models, enabling them to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in six seconds. The company guarantees a range of 125 km on a single charge.

A 7-inch touchscreen console with navigation, music, calls and other features is included in the feature list. The Aera is simple enough to be plugged into any plug point since it can be charged using any 5-amp socket. According to the company, the cost of operating an e-motorcycle is about 25 paisa per kilometer.
