A few Maruti Suzuki authorized dealerships have begun to receive the CNG-powered version of the Swift, which was recently released in India. As a result, Swift CNG deliveries are likely to begin shortly.
Maruti Suzuki offers the Swift CNG in three models: VXi, VXi(O) and ZXi. They cost ₹8.19 lakh, ₹8.46 lakh, and ₹9.19 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG features
The three-cylinder Swift engine has been upgraded by Maruti Suzuki to make it ready for CNG usage. At 5,700 rpm, this engine generates 68.79 bhp and at 2,900 rpm, it reaches its maximum torque of 101.8 Nm. The engine produces 112 Nm of torque and 81 horsepower while running on petrol. The petrol model also has a 5-speed AMT, however, the CNG variants are only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The vehicle is equipped with a number of important safety features, including the Electronic Stability Program, Hill Hold Assist and six airbags. In addition, the Swift S-CNG is equipped with additional features including wireless charging, a rear air conditioning vent, automated temperature control, 60:40 split rear seats and a Smart Play Pro infotainment system.
