Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) announced its sales figures for February 2025, reporting a total sales volume of 199,400 units, reflecting stable demand across domestic and export markets.

The company’s total domestic sales, including passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles, stood at 163,501 units, nearly unchanged from 163,397 units sold in February 2024. Additionally, sales to other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) surged to 10,878 units, compared to 5,147 units in the same month last year.

Export performance saw a decline, with 25,021 units shipped overseas, compared to 28,927 units in February 2024.

Segment-Wise Performance

  • Mini and Compact Segment (Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Swift, WagonR, Dzire, etc.):

    • Sold 83,168 units in February 2025 vs. 86,409 units in February 2024.
    • Year-to-date sales fell to 817,946 units from 888,436 units last year.
  • Utility Vehicles (Brezza, Ertiga, Grand Vitara, Fronx, Invicto, Jimny, XL6, etc.):

    • 65,033 units were sold, up from 61,234 units a year ago, indicating continued strong demand.
  • Vans (Eeco):

    • Sales slightly declined to 11,493 units from 12,147 units in February 2024.
  • Light Commercial Vehicles (Super Carry):

    • Sales stood at 2,710 units, compared to 3,126 units in February 2024.

Year-to-Date Performance

For the April 2024 – February 2025 period, Maruti Suzuki’s total sales reached 2,041,282 units, up from 1,948,127 units in the same period last year. Domestic sales, including OEM and LCV, stood at 1,741,665 units, reflecting a 3% increase year-on-year.
