Maruti Suzuki is probably going to release a new version of the sub-compact SUV Brezza. The new vehicle, named Brezza Urbano, is anticipated to be a similar addition to the Dream Series versions of the automaker’s existing models, such as the Alto K10, Celerio and S-Presso, according to reports. The Brezza Urbano is probably going to cost a little bit more than the SUV’s base model. Maruti plans to equip the SUV, which may cost up to ₹1.34 lakh, with 23 accessories.
The new edition of the Brezza will include accessory packs at a lower cost than before. Maruti has included these features to make the base and mid-editions of the SUV more appealing. The LXi model of the Urbano edition offers accessories worth over ₹50,000 for as less as ₹15,000.
These include a rear camera, a touchscreen infotainment system, speakers, front and rear skid plates, chrome front and rear garnish, body side moulding and wheel arch cladding and fog lamp kit. Customers choosing the VXi version may also choose additional items including 3D floor mats, metal sill guards, a registration plate frame and a unique dashboard trim for ₹3,500 instead of ₹26,149 when bought separately.
Maruti will continue to offer its 5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine under the hood, which is also available in CNG versions. The engine, which will be paired to both manual and automatic gearbox, can produce 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque.
