Maruti Suzuki, the leading automobile manufacturer in India, has introduced the Alto Tour H1, a new addition to its lineup of commercial cars. The Alto Tour H1 is a BS6-compliant commercial segment vehicle that prioritizes safety with features such as ABS, reverse parking sensors, and dual airbags for the driver and co-driver. With a starting price of ₹4,80,500 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 1L 5MT petrol model and ₹5,70,500 (ex-showroom) for the CNG variant, the Alto Tour H1 aims to cater to the needs of commercial buyers.
Customers can choose from three color options for the all-new Tour H1, including Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey, and Arctic White. Maruti Suzuki has established its presence in the commercial segment across various vehicle types, including hatchbacks, sedans, and multi-utility vehicles (MUVs).
Powering the entry-level commercial hatchback is the next-generation K-series 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine, which is known for its performance and enhanced fuel efficiency. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, expressed confidence in the Tour H1, stating that it upholds the legacy and trust of the Alto K10 in the commercial segment. He highlighted the vehicle’s impressive interiors, exteriors, and a range of comfort, convenience, and safety features. The Tour H1 is expected to bring joy to Maruti Suzuki’s commercial channel customers while offering excellent fuel efficiency.
In terms of performance, the all-new Tour H1 hatchback delivers maximum power of 49kW@5500rpm (66.6Ps@5500rpm) in the petrol variant and 41.7kW@5300rpm (56.6Ps@5300rpm) in the CNG variant. The torque output stands at 89Nm@3500rpm for the petrol mode and 82.1Nm@3400rpm for the CNG mode.
The Maruti Suzuki Tour H1 boasts impressive fuel efficiency ratings, with the petrol-fueled variant offering 24.60 km/l and the S-CNG variant providing 34.46 km/kg. Safety features incorporated into the Tour H1 include dual airbags, front seat belts with pre-tensioners and force limiters, seat belt reminders for both front and rear passengers, an engine immobilizer, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), a speed limiting system, reverse parking sensors, and more.
