Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported total sales of 180,526 units in July 2025, marking a 3% year-on-year rise compared to 175,041 units sold in July 2024. The July numbers include domestic sales of 140,570 units, sales to other OEMs at 8,211 units, and exports totaling 31,745 units.
In the domestic market, the Mini + Compact segment, which includes popular models like the Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Swift, and WagonR, recorded combined sales of 72,489 units, up from 68,642 units a year ago. The mid-size Ciaz saw a steep decline, selling only 173 units compared to 603 units in July last year. Utility vehicles such as the Brezza, Grand Vitara, and Ertiga saw sales of 52,773 units, slightly down from 56,302 units last year.
Maruti’s commercial vehicle Super Carry recorded 2,794 unit sales in July, while the Eeco van maintained stable performance at 12,341 units. Total domestic passenger vehicle and LCV sales stood at 140,570 units, marginally higher than the 140,354 units sold in July 2024.
A standout in July’s performance was exports, which surged to 31,745 units—an impressive jump from 23,985 units last year, reflecting growing demand in international markets.
In the April–July period of FY26, Maruti Suzuki has sold 708,387 units cumulatively, up from 696,909 units in the same period last year, despite pressure on the entry-level segment. The export momentum and resilient domestic volumes continue to support the company’s growth trajectory.
