Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the much-anticipated e-Vitara at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The electric SUV will be sold through the brand’s premium Nexa dealerships, as confirmed in a recent teaser shared on their social media. Initially unveiled globally as the eVX concept, the e-Vitara is poised to make waves in the Indian market with its impressive specifications.
Here’s what to expect in Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The e-Vitara will be offered with two battery pack options: a 49 kWh variant producing 142 bhp and 189 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 61 kWh version that delivers 172 bhp and 189 Nm of torque in its 2WD configuration. The 4WD variant of the 61 kWh battery produces 300 Nm of torque, offering a more dynamic driving experience. Both options are paired with a highly efficient eAxle powertrain featuring a motor and inverter integrated with lithium iron-phosphate batteries.
While Maruti Suzuki has not disclosed the exact range for the Indian market, the e-Vitara is expected to cover around 400 km on a single charge.
With a length of 4,275 mm, width of 1,800 mm, and a height of 1,635 mm, the e-Vitara offers a spacious and stylish SUV experience. The vehicle features a 2,700 mm wheelbase, a ground clearance of 180 mm, and 18 or 19-inch alloy wheels.
