Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) reported its tractor sales performance for May 2025, showing a year-on-year growth in both domestic and total sales. The company recorded domestic sales of 38,914 units in May 2025, compared to 35,237 units sold in May 2024, marking a 10% increase.

The total tractor sales, which include both domestic and export figures, reached 40,643 units in May 2025. This reflects a 10% growth over the 37,109 units sold in the same month last year. Export sales for May 2025 stood at 1,729 units, slightly lower than the 1,872 units exported in May 2024, resulting in an 8% decline.

On a year-to-date basis for the financial year 2025-26 (F26), the domestic sales have reached 77,430 units, rising 9% from 71,042 units sold during the corresponding period in the previous year (F25). Exports from April to May 2025 amounted to 3,267 units, reflecting a 5% growth over the 3,106 units recorded during the same period last year. The combined total tractor sales for the year-to-date stood at 80,697 units, compared to 74,148 units in the year-earlier period, registering a 9% increase.
