Mahindra is gearing up to launch the XEV 7e in the Indian market following the launch of the XEV 9e and BE 6. Recently spotted in Nagpur, this electric SUV will share its design with the XUV700 but will be built on the INGLO platform, marking a significant step in Mahindra’s EV journey.
At first glance, the XEV 7e looks similar to the XUV700, but a closer inspection reveals key differences, including the absence of an exhaust pipe, confirming its electric powertrain. The front-end will be inspired by the XEV 9e, featuring vertically stacked LED headlamps, a closed grille, and a sleek horizontal lightbar. The SUV will also feature motorized flush door handles and new aero-style alloy wheels.
Inside, the XEV 7e will offer a modern, tech-packed cabin. The dashboard will be inspired by the XUV700, while elements from the XEV 9e, like the triple-screen setup, will provide a futuristic experience. It will include a passenger screen, infotainment, and a digital driver’s display, along with a wireless charger, electronic parking brake, and a new dual-spoke steering wheel. Additional features like a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, ADAS, and driving modes will further enhance the driving experience.
The XEV 7e will share its powertrain with the BE 6 and XEV 9e, offering two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. It is expected to come with an all-wheel-drive system and dual-motor setup for improved performance.
