The next major offering from the domestic manufacturer will be the Mahindra Thar Roxx. It will make its debut on August 15th. The company has been releasing teasers for a forthcoming SUV and the most recent one showcases some of the features that the Thar Roxx will have.

The latest teaser image shows that the driver’s display on the Thar Roxx will have a digital screen that comes from the XUV700. Also available would be an auto emergency braking system and hill hold control. Thus, the Advanced Driver Aids System would most likely be included with the Thar Roxx as well.

There will be a new touchscreen infotainment system, which debuted with the XUV400 and is now also used on the XUV 3XO. It has a 26.03-inch screen that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The dashboard’s design would borrow certain elements from the present Thar and climate control would be automatic.

The brand has further confirmed the installation of a leatherette upholstery and a panoramic sunroof. Sticking appears on the dashboard and door pads, indicating that higher-end models could use soft-touch materials for a more luxurious feel.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx will share engines with the Scorpio N, Thar and XUV700. As a result, there would be two engines: a 2.2-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol. Both a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual gearbox would be available. A 4×4 system would also be available.
