New features have been added to the top three models of the Mahindra Scorpio N SUV: Z8 Select, Z8 and Z8 L. Notably, these upgrades come at no extra cost.
The Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select and Z8 trims now have a wireless charging station and a new high-gloss finish on the centre console. The top-tier Z8 L receives the finest modifications, such as ventilated front seats for greater comfort, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a wireless charging pad with active cooling to avoid overheating. Furthermore, all three trims now have the option of the Midnight Black paint scheme, which was previously reserved only for the Z8 Select.
It’s important to keep in mind that Mahindra recently increased pricing by about ₹10,000 for the whole Scorpio N series. The Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select now starts at ₹17.10 lakh, the Z8 starts at ₹18.74 lakh and the Z8 L starts at ₹20.37 lakh, with no further increases in price for the extra set of features. All the prices are ex-showroom.
The top-spec Z8 L still has six airbags, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a powered driver’s seat, 18-inch alloy wheels, a Sony sound system and driver drowsiness detection.
The engine choices also remain unchanged, with a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine, both available with 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions. However, the 4WD powertrain is only available for the diesel engine.
