Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s top automotive companies, reported impressive growth in its October 2025 sales, marking a record-breaking month for its SUV segment.

The company sold a total of 1,20,142 vehicles in October 2025, registering a strong 26% year-on-year growth, including exports.

In the Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment, Mahindra achieved its highest-ever monthly sales, delivering 71,624 units in the domestic market — a 31% increase over October 2024. Overall, including exports, Mahindra’s SUV sales stood at 73,890 units.

Domestic sales in the Commercial Vehicle segment were also robust at 31,741 units, showing a 14% rise compared to the same month last year.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., expressed pride in the milestone, saying,

“In October, we achieved SUV sales of 71,624 units, a growth of 31%, which is the highest SUV sales we have clocked ever in a month! The total vehicle sales stand at 1,20,142 units, a 26% growth compared to the same month last year. October also saw the launch of the new editions of Thar, Bolero & Bolero Neo.”

Segment Performance Snapshot (Domestic, October 2025)

  • Utility Vehicles: 71,624 units (up 31%)

  • LCV < 2T: 4,559 units (up 16%)

  • LCV 2T–3.5T: 27,182 units (up 14%)

  • 3-Wheelers (including electric): 12,762 units (up 30%)

Mahindra’s export volumes also improved, with 4,015 units shipped, reflecting a 15% increase year-on-year.

For the financial year-to-date (April–October 2025), Mahindra’s cumulative Utility Vehicle sales rose 17%, reaching 3,69,194 units, while 3-wheeler sales surged 32% to 66,340 units.
