Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), one of India’s top automotive players, wrapped up June 2025 on a strong note with total auto sales reaching 78,969 units, marking a 14% year-on-year growth, including exports.

The star performer for the company was its SUV (Utility Vehicles) segment. Mahindra sold 47,306 SUVs in the domestic market in June alone — an 18% increase compared to June 2024. When exports are included, total UV sales stood at 48,329 units.

Commercial vehicle sales also remained solid, with domestic sales at 20,575 units. Notably, Mahindra’s 3-wheeler segment, which includes electric models, saw a robust 37% growth, clocking 8,454 units in June.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of the Automotive Division at M&M, expressed confidence in the company’s performance. He said, “In June, we achieved SUV sales of 47,306 units, an 18% growth, and total vehicle sales of 78,969 units — a 14% rise from last year. This quarter has been our best-ever in SUV sales, and we’re proud of the momentum we’re carrying forward.”

Year-to-Date Performance (April–June FY26):

  • Passenger Vehicles: 1,52,067 units | +22% YoY

  • 3-Wheelers: 20,559 units | +16% YoY

  • Exports: 9,667 units | +36% YoY

With a strong first quarter behind them and sustained demand across multiple segments, Mahindra appears to be well-positioned for continued growth in FY26. The company’s aggressive play in the SUV and EV spaces seems to be paying off as customer sentiment remains high.
