Mahindra officially unveiled the 5-door SUV, the Thar Roxx. The basic diesel model costs ₹ 13.99 lakh, while the base petrol model costs ₹ 12.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
Thar Roxx features
As per Carwale report, the Thar Roxx’s powertrain options include a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, mStallion turbo-petrol engine that produces 160bhp and 330Nm. A 2.2-litre, four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine capable of producing 150bhp and 330Nm of torque is also available. Customers can select between six-speed manual and automated transmissions.
The 2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx’s exterior has a new grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlights, circular fog lights, dual-tone alloy wheels and rear-door-mounted handles. It has rectangular LED taillights and a spare wheel located on the tailgate.
A few of the many features inside the new Thar Roxx include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, fully digital colour instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and dual-tone upholstery.
