Mahindra Defence Systems (MDS), a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group, has commenced the supply of its Armado vehicles to the Indian armed forces. Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group, shared the news of the delivery of the Armado—Armoured Light Specialist Vehicle (ASLV) on Twitter.
Expressing his pride, Mahindra stated that the Armado is India’s first domestically designed, developed, and manufactured Armoured Light Specialist Vehicle. He emphasized the vehicle’s significance for the country’s armed forces and conveyed his patriotic sentiments with the phrase “Jai Hind.”
Acknowledging the contributions of key individuals involved in the project, Mahindra also saluted Prakash Shukla for his leadership in the Defence Sector. He expressed his gratitude to Sukhvinder Hayer and the entire team for their dedication, perseverance, and passion in turning this project into a reality.
