KTM has introduced the enhanced 2023 iteration of the esteemed 200 Duke motorcycle in India, carrying a price tag of Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest variant showcases notable advancements, notably the inclusion of an upgraded LED headlamp inspired by the esteemed KTM 250 Duke and 390 Duke iterations. Furthermore, the 2023 KTM 200 Duke offers two fresh paint alternatives: Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic. While the overall design maintains its commanding stance, no substantial alterations have been made except for the revamped headlamp. Noteworthy features, such as the under-belly exhaust, 17-inch alloy wheels, split-style seat, engine cowl, and a 13.4-litre fuel tank, have been carried forward from its predecessor.

Under the hood, the 2023 KTM 200 Duke retains the identical powertrain as its predecessor. It is propelled by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, generating 24.67bhp of power and 19.2Nm of torque. The engine is compatible with OBD2 and E20 fuel and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of hardware, the motorcycle adheres to its existing setup, featuring 43mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock suspension. The braking system incorporates a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, accompanied by a dual-channel ABS equipped with a supermoto mode and a side-stand engine cut-off function. Notably, the supermoto mode disables the ABS functionality on the rear wheel. The 17-inch alloy wheels continue to provide both stability and visual allure.

The 2023 KTM 200 Duke presents a rejuvenated aesthetic with its new LED headlight and the introduction of the captivating Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic paint schemes. Both color options enhance the visual appeal, beautifully complementing the black chassis and orange alloy wheels.

With a price tag of Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom), the upgraded KTM 200 Duke faces stiff competition from other prominent motorcycles available in the Indian market, including the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Honda Hornet 2.0, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and more. With its enhanced features, specifications, and appealing design, the 2023 KTM 200 Duke aims to captivate and enthrall motorcycle enthusiasts across India.
