Kia India is preparing to introduce the latest-generation Carnival MPV on October 3, 2024. The company has released a teaser for its forthcoming vehicle, which is set to come on the same day as the new Kia EV9 electric SUV.

The new Kia Carnival will be brought to India through the CBU route, however, the Korean firm intends to assemble the MPV locally at a later date.

Kia Carnival MPV Features

Features like dual 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument console with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual sunroofs, front and rear dashcams, a head-up display, a digital interior rearview mirror (IRVM), and ambient lighting all through the cabin are all included in the new model.

The new-generation Kia Carnival has also expanded in size, reaching more over 5 metres in length, which is likely to free up more space in the interior and provide passengers with a more pleasant back seat experience. The model offers a more comfortable and lavish experience with soft-touch materials, leather seats, several colour themes and more.

Globally, the MPV comes in 7-, 9-, and 11-seater options. Similar to its predecessor, a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine is anticipated to provide power. The oil burner was only available with an automatic transmission and this will remain with the new model.
