Kia has released the prices and begun taking orders for the car in South Korea, after its announcement and recent unveiling of the affordable EV3 SUV in October of last year.

The Kia EV3 is the South Korean automaker’s third electric vehicle and is part of their new-generation affordable lineup. On opening orders, Kia South Korea’s Vice President, Jeong Won-Jeong, indicated that the company expects consumers who are concerned about electric vehicles to “choose the EV3 without hesitation.”

Kia provides four trim options at varied pricing, with the Standard model starting at $30,700 (₹25.6 lakh). The Earth trim starts at $33,400 (₹27.8 lakh), while the GT Line and Long Range trims are available at $34,100 (₹28.4 lakh). The EV3 Standard has a range of 350 kilometres due to its 58.3 kWh battery. The bigger 81.4 kWh battery in the Long Range model increases the range to 501 kilometres.

The EV3 has a lot of interior technology in the form of Kia’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit. This is a 12.3-inch infotainment system and instrument cluster equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

With the 350 kWh charger that Kia includes with the EV3, the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% capacity in under 30 minutes. Kia also provides an e-Life Package, which was just introduced and this deal covers vehicle care and maintenance, charging and used-price vehicle guarantees to further enhance the EV experience.
