Kawasaki recently introduced a new modern classic motorbike to its inventory, called W230, which sits above W175. The design of the W Series bikes is inspired by the Kawasaki W1, which was released in the 1960s. The company has yet to disclose if the W230 would be available in India.
Kawasaki W230 features
The 233 cc liquid-cooled engine powering the Kawasaki W230 reaches its maximum torque of 18.98 Nm at 5,800 rpm. It comes equipped with a six-speed gearbox. The engine has 32 mm throttle bodies, an engine balancer and is air-cooled.
The Kawasaki W230 has an LED headlight and a simple dual-pod instrument cluster with a tiny digital trip meter readout. The company offers a dual-channel anti-lock braking system.
The manufacturer uses a semi-double-cradle steel frame that is supported by 37 mm telescopic forks in the front and dual shock absorbers in the back with preload adjustment. A 265 mm disc with a two-piston caliper at the front and a 220 mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the back is in charge for the braking.
