The launch of the new Meridian X Special Edition, which will offer the three-row SUV unique stylistic upgrades and accessories, has been announced by Jeep India. The new Jeep Meridian X is priced between the Limited O and Overland models, at ₹34.27 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are currently being accepted for the special edition vehicle, which will be available in limited numbers.
Jeep Meridian X Special Edition Features
For a more premium appearance, the 2024 Jeep Meridian X Special Edition sports alloy wheels with grey pockets, a contrast grey roof and new body-coloured lowers. The inside has been upgraded with new features and styles. This includes new side moulding, puddle lamps, programmable ambient lighting, sun shades, an air purifier and a dashboard camera. Premium carpet mats and an optional rear seat entertainment package are also included in the Meridian X, adding to the SUV’s value.
There are no mechanical modifications and the Jeep Meridian X is offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SUV comes with both 4×2 and 4×4 variants. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.8 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 198 km/h.
Later this year, a new and upgraded version of the Meridian will be launched by Jeep. The forthcoming offering, which is expected to launch around the festive season, has been spotted testing on many occasions.
