Hyundai is going to launch the Alcazar facelift in India on September 9. The three-row SUV’s appearance and interior look will be significantly updated, but its mechanical design is anticipated to stay the same. It will compete with Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus in the domestic market.

What to expect in the Hyundai Alcazar facelift?

Several sightings of test mules suggest that the Alcazar is set to receive distinctive design modifications that set it apart from the Creta, which also had a facelift this year. Although the split headlight design may not change, the front bumper and grille may. It will have new alloy wheels and modified side claddings.

The Alcazar’s interior will have a dashboard with soft-touch materials and a twin-screen setup. There will be 6- and 7-seater versions of the updated Alcazar. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options will remain. The petrol engine produces 160 horsepower and 253Nm of torque and is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine produces 116 horsepower and 250Nm and is available in 6MT or 6AT configurations.
