Honda Cars India has officially released the first teaser for the much-anticipated third-generation Amaze, set to compete with the upcoming 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which launches on November 11. While detailed specifications are yet to be revealed, the teaser image provides an exciting preview of the new model’s front fascia.
Here’s what to expect in the 2024 Honda Amaze
The new Honda Amaze is expected to adopt a design language similar to that of the current-generation Honda City. The teaser hints at a bold front end featuring a large, wide grille adorned with the iconic Honda logo prominently positioned at the centre.
In the meantime, the forthcoming model’s front bumper will have strong lines and a sportier look. To give the sedan a dynamic appearance, the bonnet will also have strong creases. Additionally, the teaser image suggests that the 2024 Honda Amaze’s headlight parts will be identical to those of the Honda Elevate.
Under the hood, the third-generation Honda Amaze is anticipated to retain the reliable 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine from its predecessor. This powertrain is expected to deliver a robust 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque, ensuring a spirited driving experience. Buyers will have the option to choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox, providing flexibility for different driving preferences.
