Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Hero Xtreme 250R at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, priced at ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). This highly anticipated streetfighter will hit dealerships across India soon, with bookings starting in February 2025 and deliveries from March.

Inspired by the Xtunt 2.5R concept bike showcased at EICMA 2023, the Xtreme 250R is the street naked counterpart of the Karizma XMR 250, featuring bold aesthetics and advanced features. The bike boasts a sculpted fuel tank, aggressive LED projector headlamp with DRLs, a split seat, and an upswept tail, delivering a sporty look.

The Xtreme 250R offers premium features like switchable dual-channel ABS, a lap timer, drag timer, and Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrumentation supporting turn-by-turn navigation and media controls.

Built on a lightweight trellis frame, the bike is equipped with 43 mm USD forks upfront and a rear monoshock with six-step adjustable preload. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless radial tyres for optimal grip. Dual disc brakes ensure strong stopping power.

At the heart of the Xtreme 250R is a newly developed 250 cc DOHC, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 29.5 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. This setup powers the bike from 0-60 kmph in just 3.25 seconds, making it a thrilling option in the quarter-litre segment.
