Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, a dynamic motorcycle available in three different variants. With a starting price of Rs. 1.27 lakhs (ex-showroom), the Xtreme 160R 4V offers options for riders to choose from based on their preferences and requirements. The three trims available are Standard, Connected, and Pro, each offering unique features and styling.
In terms of appearance, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V retains its distinctive design while incorporating a few updates. These include new graphics, revised fuel tank, under cowl, rear grip, lowered headlamp with finlets, and a new seat available in both single and split options. The bike showcases a sporty and modern aesthetic that is sure to catch the eye.
The Standard variant of the Xtreme 160R 4V is offered in Blazing Sports Red and Matt Slate Black color options. The Connected version features the stylish Matt Slate Black color, while the Pro variant is available in Neon Shooting Star and Matt Slate Black color options.
Under the hood, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V boasts impressive performance capabilities. Powered by a 163.2cc air-oil cooled, 4-valve engine, it delivers a peak power output of 16.9 PS at 8500 RPM and a maximum torque of 14.6 Nm at 6500 RPM. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, the bike offers smooth and efficient gear transitions.
The Xtreme 160R 4V is renowned for its exceptional acceleration and drag timing, claiming to be the fastest motorcycle in its segment. It achieves 0-60 km/hr acceleration in a remarkable 4.4 seconds. While the exact figures for 0-100 km/hr and top speed are yet to be revealed, Hero MotoCorp asserts its dominance in these areas.
To ensure a comfortable and controlled ride, the Xtreme 160R 4V features a 37 mm inverted KYV front fork suspension and a 7-step adjustable monoshock rear suspension provided by Showa. The braking system comprises a 276 mm front petal disc and a 220 mm rear petal disc, ensuring effective and reliable stopping power.
With a seat height of 795 mm, 165 mm ground clearance, 12 liters of fuel tank capacity, and a kerb weight of 145 kg, the Xtreme 160R 4V offers a balanced and agile riding experience suitable for various terrains.
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V sets a new standard in terms of features. It comes equipped with a complete LED setup, including position lamps, low beam, high beam, tail lamp, signature tail lamp, and winkers, ensuring excellent visibility and enhanced safety. The display provides valuable information such as Bluetooth status, battery health status, service alerts, gear position, ABS/engine malfunction alerts, call/SMS/missed call notifications, and more.
