Hero MotoCorp wrapped up the festive season on a strong note, posting impressive retail and wholesale numbers that highlight solid demand across its motorcycle and scooter lineup.

According to VAHAN data, the company registered 9,94,690 two-wheelers during the festive period (excluding Telangana). In October 2025 alone, Hero MotoCorp dispatched 6,35,808 units to dealerships — marking its second consecutive strong month of festive sales.

This momentum was driven by steady customer demand, improved market sentiment, and the positive impact of GST benefits recently announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hero’s popular models — including the Splendor, Xpulse, Glamour X, and scooters like Destini, Xoom, and Pleasure — were major contributors to this growth.

On the electric front, Hero’s EV brand VIDA saw strong traction. The VIDA VX2 e-scooter led the charge with around 16,000 VAHAN registrations in October, reflecting a 24% month-on-month rise and more than double the numbers from a year ago. The company continues to see high bookings and strong interest across key cities.

Globally, Hero MotoCorp’s international business recorded a standout performance. The company sold 30,979 units in October, up 42.8% year-on-year, and achieved 175,997 units in the first half of FY26, translating to 54% YoY growth and a global market share of 1.4%. Hero also made a significant entry into European markets — including Italy, Spain, the UK, and France — with its Euro5+ compliant Hunk 440 and Xpulse 200 motorcycles.

In terms of segment performance, motorcycle dispatches stood at 5,70,753 units in October 2025, while scooters registered 65,055 units, up from 43,304 units a year ago. Total exports jumped sharply to 30,979 units from 21,688 units in October 2024.
