Hero MotoCorp has launched the XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition, priced at ₹1.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for this special edition, which comes with a ₹3,000 premium over the standard Pro version, open on December 18, 2024. Inspired by the Dakar Rally, the bike features a striking new livery, including the Dakar logo, a bike silhouette in dune bashing, and location coordinates on the fuel tank.

Key Features & Upgrades
The XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition retains the Pro variant’s mechanicals but adds several enhancements. These include an adjustable front suspension with 250 mm travel, 270 mm ground clearance, and a rally-style windshield. The bike also comes with ABS and three ride modes: Road, Off-Road, and Rally. Other updates include closed-loop knuckle guards, a USB charger, and new side and tail panel graphics.

Engine & Performance
Powered by a 199.6 cc single-cylinder engine, the XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition delivers 18.9 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The bike is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, making it ideal for both on-road and off-road adventures.

Ergonomics & Design
The bike features updated ergonomics with a handlebar riser for an improved standing riding stance. It also retains the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoked wheels with dual-purpose tires and disc brakes at both ends.
