Force Motors outlets have now begun accepting bookings for the Gurkha twins. The all-new Gurkha 5-door and the heavily modified Gurkha 3-door are set to go on sale in early May 2024. A few dealer sources have told Autocar India that the pricing announcement might happen later this week, most likely on May 2, 2024. However, there has been no official confirmation from the manufacturer.
The Gurkha is now available in three- and five-door body designs and both variants have the same 2.6-litre Mercedes-sourced diesel engine.
The engine has been enhanced to produce an impressive 140 horsepower, an impressive boost over the 91hp output seen in the outgoing Gurkha. There is currently no automatic transmission available; the only gearbox available is a 5-speed manual.
The Gurkha’s features include a completely digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch infotainment screen and a few more creature comforts.
Customers may select from four colours: green, red, white and black, and Force Motors provides the Gurkha with a three-year / 1.5 lakh km warranty, four free services, and one year of free roadside assistance.
