Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division reported a slight dip in tractor sales compared to the same period in 2024. The company sold 6,669 tractors in January 2025, marking a 6.7% decrease compared to the 7,150 tractors sold in January 2024. Despite the drop in overall sales, the company’s performance showed promising signs in specific areas, especially in exports.

Domestic Tractor Sales in January 2025

Escorts Kubota’s domestic tractor sales in January 2025 totaled 6,058 units, down 10.7% from 6,782 tractors sold in January 2024. However, the company anticipates a positive shift in demand in the coming months, due to the enhanced rabi sowing and the upcoming harvesting season. The festive period is also expected to drive up demand in key markets, potentially reversing the declining trend in domestic sales.

Export Tractor Sales Growth

While domestic sales showed a decline, Escorts Kubota experienced a significant increase in export tractor sales. The company sold 611 tractors in January 2025, which is a remarkable 66.0% growth compared to the 368 tractors sold in January 2024. This export performance highlights the company’s expanding global reach and the growing demand for its tractors in international markets.
