Escorts Kubota Limited has reported its highest-ever monthly tractor sales in October 2025, marking a significant milestone for the company’s Agri Machinery Business. The company sold 18,798 tractors, reflecting a 3.8% year-on-year growth compared to 18,110 units sold in October 2024.
The strong performance was driven by robust festive demand, favorable monsoon conditions, and continued government support for the agricultural sector.
Strong Domestic Performance
Domestic tractor sales in October 2025 stood at 18,423 units, up 3.3% from 17,839 units sold during the same month last year. Escorts Kubota attributed the growth to improved rural sentiment, preponement of the festive season, and a reduced GST rate that boosted overall affordability.
The company highlighted that consistent policy support, healthy crop yields, and ample water levels in reservoirs have collectively sustained the sector’s positive momentum. Despite extended rains impacting harvested crops in some regions, tractor demand is expected to stay stable during the upcoming rabi season, reinforcing a positive outlook for the industry.
Export Sales See Sharp Rise
Exports also saw a remarkable jump, with 375 tractors sold in October 2025 — a 38.4% increase compared to 271 units in October 2024. This surge underscores Escorts Kubota’s growing global footprint and the strong international demand for its products.
Year-to-Date Sales Maintain Double-Digit Growth
For the April–October 2025 (FY26) period, the company recorded total sales of 83,256 tractors, representing an 11.8% growth over 74,475 units sold in the same period of FY25.
-
Domestic sales: 79,600 units (up 10.5%)
-
Export sales: 3,656 units (up 48.7%)
The company’s performance reaffirms its strong position in the Indian tractor market and its commitment to supporting India’s evolving agricultural landscape.
