Eicher Motors Limited has released its motorcycle sales figures for May 2025. The company recorded total sales of 89,429 units during the month, marking a 26% increase compared to 71,010 units sold in May 2024.
Motorcycles with engine capacity up to 350cc accounted for 76,492 units in May 2025, up from 59,852 units in the same month last year. This segment saw a year-on-year growth of 28%. Meanwhile, sales of motorcycles with engine capacity exceeding 350cc reached 12,937 units in May 2025, reflecting a 16% rise from 11,158 units in May 2024.
For the April to May 2025 period, Eicher Motors reported total sales of 1,75,988 units, showing a 15% increase over 1,52,880 units sold during the same period in the previous year. In the 350cc and below segment, year-to-date sales stood at 1,50,774 units, up 14% from 1,32,718 units a year earlier. The above 350cc category posted a 25% rise with 25,214 units sold, compared to 20,162 units during the April-May 2024 period.
International business, which is included in the overall sales numbers, also experienced strong growth. Sales in international markets reached 13,609 units in May 2025, up 82% from 7,479 units in May 2024. For the April-May 2025 period, international sales totaled 24,166 units, up 69% compared to 14,311 units in the same period last year.
