Eicher Motors Limited has announced a record-breaking year for its motorcycle division, Royal Enfield, which clocked total sales of 10,09,900 units in FY2024–25, marking an 11% growth year-on-year. This milestone represents Royal Enfield’s highest-ever annual sales, fueled by strong demand across both domestic and international markets.

In March 2025 alone, Royal Enfield recorded sales of 1,01,021 motorcycles, up 34% compared to the same month last year. Domestic sales for the full year stood at 9,02,757 units (up 8%), while exports surged 37% to 1,07,143 units.

Key highlights for the year included the Hunter 350 crossing 500,000 cumulative sales, and the Super Meteor 650 surpassing 50,000 units sold. Royal Enfield was also ranked highest in the 2025 J.D. Power India Two-Wheeler Initial Quality Study, reinforcing its reputation for reliability.

The company launched several new motorcycles in FY25, including the Classic 650, Goan Classic 350, Bear 650, Guerrilla 450, Scram 440, and its first EV brand Flying Flea, which includes two electric models set to launch by 2026.

Royal Enfield also expanded its global footprint with new facilities in Thailand and Bangladesh, and announced plans for a CKD unit in Brazil. Its Motoverse 2024 event drew over 10,000 participants, highlighting its growing motorcycling community.

Commenting on the performance, B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, said the year was “extraordinary,” celebrating not just sales records but also strategic global expansions and product innovation. As the brand enters its 125th year, it is poised for further momentum with an emphasis on electric mobility and global market penetration.
