Ducati, the renowned Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has taken the wraps off the 2024 editions of its popular models, the Panigale V2 and the Multistrada V2 S, for the global market. The latest update introduces fresh paint schemes, namely Thrilling Black and Street Grey. These new colors complement the existing classic Ducati Red, giving customers more options to choose from.

As the successor to the Ducati Panigale 959, the Panigale V2 represents the flagship superbike in the liter-class segment. It provides a more accessible and affordable alternative to the Panigale V4. In terms of design updates, the 2024 Panigale V2 showcases a sleek all-black bodywork and wheels. Notably, the wheel rims feature eye-catching red inserts, while the front fairing proudly displays the ‘Panigale’ inscription in red and the V2 moniker in black.

Turning to the Multistrada V2 S, Ducati offers this model with striking red wheels and red stickers on the side of the fairing. This motorcycle serves as a replacement for the outgoing Multistrada 950. Apart from these visual enhancements, both bikes retain their core powertrain, hardware, and overall design elements.

Let’s delve into the specifics of the 2024 Ducati Panigale V2. Its design draws significant inspiration from its larger sibling, the Panigale V4. Key features include full LED headlamps with prominent air intakes, a double-layer fairing, a stepped-up seat, and a single-sided aluminum swingarm, along with a single-side exhaust tailpipe.

Notably, the Panigale V2 is Ducati’s first BS6-compliant motorcycle in India. Beneath its sleek exterior, the 2024 Panigale V2 is equipped with a formidable V-twin engine. This 955cc Superquadro powerplant produces a maximum power output of 153bhp at 10,750 rpm and a peak torque of 104Nm at 9,000 rpm, marking a 5bhp and 2Nm increase over its predecessor. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, and a bi-directional quick shifter comes as standard. The suspension setup consists of fully adjustable 43mm Showa USD forks at the front and a fully adjustable Sachs mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the rear.

In addition, the Panigale V2 features Ducati’s advanced electronics package, incorporating a 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). The motorcycle offers three riding modes – Race, Sport, and Street – along with cornering ABS, anti-wheelie control, and traction control. Other notable features include a new 4.3-inch TFT color display, which mirrors the one found on the Panigale V4, enhancing the overall riding experience.
