Citroen India earlier revealed the starting price of the Basalt at Rs 7.99 lakh ex-showroom. The firm has now announced the full price list for the Coupe SUV. However, it should be noted that these are introductory pricing. Citroen Basalt will be available in three variants: You, Plus and Max.

Citroen Basalt Features
There are two different engine choices available for the Citroen Basalt. The first is a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with a maximum torque of 115 Nm and 80 bhp that is exclusively paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 109 bhp is the second option.
Citroen states that the 1.2 naturally aspirated model has a fuel economy of 18 kmpl, while the 1.2 turbo petrol manual returns 19.5 kmpl. The turbo petrol automatic claims 18.7 km/l.
The forthcoming Citroen Basalt will include many features, including adjustable thigh support for second row passengers, wraparound taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear air conditioning vents and LED projector headlights. Along with automated temperature control, this coupe SUV will also include a 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In terms of safety features, the coupe SUV will come equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control (ESC), a rear parking camera complemented by parking sensors and six airbags as standard.
