Bookings for the new eMAX 7 MPV, which will replace the current e6, will be available starting on September 21, 2024, according to a statement from BYD India. Additionally, the automaker assured discounts and benefits of up to Rs 51,000 for the first 1,000 customers who book the vehicle. Also, the firm said that it will give complimentary 7kW and 3 kW chargers to the first 1,000 customers. The company, however, states that the offers are conditional, requiring customers to book the car before October 8, 2024 and take delivery on or before May 25, 2025. The booking cost is fixed at Rs 51,000.

The eMAX 7 serves as a facelift of the e6 MPV, including external design upgrades and inside modifications. The eMAX 7 is more visually appealing than the MPV it replaces, with sleeker headlights, a smaller enclosed grille, updated tail lights and new bumpers.

The most significant change in the cabin is the addition of a third row of seats. The MPV is likely to include captain’s seats in the second row with individual armrests, as well as extra features. A panoramic sunroof and a bigger central touchscreen are among the expected new features.

Regarding the engine, it’s unclear if the eMAX 7 will use the same engine as the previous e6 or upgrade to a more powerful one.
