BYD, under its premium sub-brand Denza, has trademarked the design of its flagship luxury SUV, the Denza N9, in India. First unveiled at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, this three-row SUV boasts an imposing presence, cutting-edge technology, and a luxurious interior.
The Denza N9 stands out with its sheer size, measuring over 5.2 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height, along with a 3.1-meter wheelbase. The exterior design is minimalist yet striking, featuring an enclosed grille, sleek sweptback LED headlamps, air vents on the bonnet, and a prominent skid-plate. A LIDAR module mounted atop the windshield underscores its advanced tech credentials. The side profile showcases clean body lines, large windows, and minimal cladding, while the rear sports a raked glass, roof-mounted spoiler, and stylish light-bar tail lamps with the Denza logo.
Inside, the N9 offers a futuristic cabin with a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, a 13.2-inch driver display, and a dedicated co-driver screen, complemented by a head-up display. Luxury abounds with individual captain seats in the second row, fold-away tables, and a central screen for entertainment. The third row comfortably accommodates two passengers.
Powering the N9 are advanced plug-in hybrid and all-electric options. The EV variant features a tri-motor setup, delivering up to 952 bhp.
