BSA Motorcycles has returned to the Indian market with the launch of the Gold Star 650. The new vintage bike debuted in the Indian market on August 15 and starts at Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). The price range goes to Rs 3.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company is now officially prepared to start delivering its middle-weight motorcycle to customers in India. The 650 cc engine bike will go up against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

BSA Gold Star 650 features

With its distinctive tear-shaped fuel tank, long single seat and curved fenders, the BSA Gold Star has a classic design. It also has wire-spoke wheels, a round headlight and shiny metal details. The bike is available in a variety of colours, including red, black, silver, green and dark black. A silver special edition version will also be available.

The BSA Gold Star has cutting-edge features such as a twin-pod semi-digital gauge cluster, dual-channel ABS, a USB charging port and a slipper clutch. The Pirelli tyres on the bike’s 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels provide stability.

The BSA Gold Star’s 652 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine produces 45 horsepower and a maximum torque of 55 Nm. There is a five-speed gearbox paired to it.
