BMW R 1300 GS, the highly anticipated flagship motorcycle, is set to debut on September 28, 2023, at the opening ceremony of BMW Motorrad Welt in Berlin. Images of the motorcycle have already created a buzz online prior to its official launch.

Serving as the successor to the renowned BMW R 1250 GS, the new model will feature a 1,300cc boxer-twin engine and a 6-speed transmission, offering improved performance with 143bhp of power and 143Nm of torque.

Equipped with BMW’s ShiftCam technology, the R 1300 GS is expected to have slight tuning variations compared to the existing 1250 series. In related news, BMW celebrated a milestone by delivering its 1,000,000th unit of the R 1250 GS Triple Black, which shares the same powertrain as the standard R 1250 GS, providing 134bhp of power and 143Nm of torque.

The upcoming R 1300 GS is anticipated to come with a range of features including LED lighting, heated grips, a digital instrument cluster, collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, radar-based cruise control, GPS, traction control, ABS, and ride modes. Its design is expected to be aggressive, featuring an LED headlight, auxiliary lights, and a compact windshield.

The motorcycle will have a brand-new cast aluminum frame and rear sub-frame for weight reduction and improved agility. With its debut at the new BMW Motorrad Welt, the R 1300 GS aims to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts with its advanced technology, enhanced performance, and striking design.
