The new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure has been launched into the international market by BMW Motorrad. It is based on the R 1300 GS, which was recently released in India. We do not yet know when the R 1300 GS Adventure will be released in India, but it is expected that it will happen before the end of the current year.

The new R 1300 GS Adventure has more standard features than the previous model. In addition to the engine drag torque control and tyre pressure monitoring system, it now has heated grips and keyless ride. Also included are the DSA, auxiliary headlights, cruise control DCC with brake function and BMW Motorrad Full Integral ABS Pro.

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Features

The boxer engine powering the R 1300 GS Adventure is the same engine that powers the R 1300 GS. The engine’s maximum power output is 143 bhp at 7,750 rpm, while its maximum torque is 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. In addition to the new Automated Shift Assistant, an automated gearbox, there is a 6-speed gearbox on duty.

The fuel tank capacity has increased in comparison to the R 1300 GS. It now has a capacity of 30 litres. Customers may also choose a 12-litre tank bag with a waterproof inner bag. There are four riding modes, a Matrix headlight, hand protectors with indicators and dynamic traction control.

As an optional feature, the R 1300 GS Adventure has ADAS with Riding Assistant with Active Cruise Control (ACC), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Change Warning, and Rear End Collision Warning (RECW) for safe and easy motorcycle riding.
