BMW Motorrad India is gearing up for the much-anticipated launch of the R 1300 GS Adventure in India, as revealed through an exciting teaser shared on social media. The new model, set to sit above the current R 1300 GS (priced at ₹21.20 lakh ex-showroom), promises to deliver an enhanced and thrilling adventure-riding experience.

Key updates include heated grips, keyless ride, tyre pressure monitoring system, and engine drag torque control. Additionally, the motorcycle is equipped with BMW Motorrad’s Full Integral ABS Pro, cruise control with DCC and brake function, and auxiliary headlamps for enhanced safety.

Powering the R 1300 GS Adventure is the same 1,301cc boxer engine from the R 1300 GS, generating 143 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The 6-speed gearbox comes with an option for an automatic gearbox through the new Automated Shift Assistant.

Safety and convenience are paramount with the inclusion of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). The R 1300 GS Adventure offers features like Active Cruise Control (ACC), Front Collision Warning, Lane Change Warning, and Rear End Collision Warning. Optional equipment includes a 30-litre fuel tank, with an additional 12-litre tank bag for long journeys.

The bike also boasts four riding modes, a Matrix headlamp, integrated turn indicators on hand protectors, and dynamic traction control. Advanced systems such as Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and Hill Start Control (HSC) ensure a smooth and safe ride across diverse terrains.
