BMW Motorrad India recently announced the pricing for the new F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure. The F 900 GS is priced at Rs 13.75 lakh, while the F 900 GS Adventure costs Rs 14.75 lakh ex-showroom. Both bikes will be available in two colour choices: Passion and GS Trophy for the former and Blackstorm Metallic and Ride Pro for the latter.

The sleek design of the new BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure features a strong focus on riding triangle, comfort and ergonomics. The most notable change in the new BMW F 900 GS is a significant weight reduction. The F 900 GS weighs 14 kg less than the F 850 GS due to many modifications, including a modified chassis, a lighter plastic fuel tank, an updated battery and an Akrapovic rear muffler. These changes help to increase handling and overall agility. The F 900 GS Adventure is equipped with an adjustable touring windshield, an aluminium sump guard, auxiliary lights and a big 23-litre fuel tank.

The motorcycles come with a wide range of modern rider aids, such as switchable ABS that can be adjusted based on the rider’s riding situation, several riding modes and traction control for better stability.

The F 900 GS’s engine has a newly rebuilt liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The displacement has been increased to 895 cc, giving the engine a maximum power output of 105 bhp and peak torque of 93 Nm. Its 6-speed transmission compliments the engine, boosting its performance and offering an excellent option for off-road and on-road adventures.
