BMW recently unveiled the X7 Signature Edition in India, priced at Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom). The special edition has visual upgrades over the standard X7 and is offered in limited quantities. The X7 Signature Edition will be produced locally at BMW Group’s Chennai plant and will only be offered in the xDrive40i model.
BMW X7 Signature Edition features
The X7 Signature Edition has crystal headlights with Swarovski glass cut crystals and aluminium satinated roof rails on the exterior. There’s a new inner design for the LED tail lights and smoked glass covers the chrome bar connecting them. Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey are the only two special BMW Individual paintworks offered for the X7 Signature Edition.
Inside, the limited edition has Alcantara cushions, a unique crystal door pins and Individual Leather for the instrument panel. BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, as well as many other features, are among the available equipment.
The X7 Signature Edition is powered by the same 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid technology. This engine produces 381 horsepower and 520 Nm of maximum torque, enabling the three-row SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 5.8 seconds. The engine is coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission with the xDrive all-wheel drive system.
