BMW India recently launched a new special edition SUV, the BMW X3 Shadow Edition, priced at ₹74.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This model is available in the xDrive20d M Sport trim.
The BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition has various external upgrades. It comes with a black kidney grille, high-gloss black tailpipes, high-gloss black window graphics, roof rails and a kidney frame and bars. The SUV has 19-inch Y-spoke design 887 M alloy wheels.
The Shadow Edition’s interior includes leather Vernasca upholstery, an electric seat adjustment with memory function and a multifunction sport steering wheel. The interior has a panoramic glass roof, a welcome light carpet, ambient lighting with six dimmable settings, electroplated controls, three-zone automated climate control, and roller sunblinds.
The BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. It has an eight-speed Steptronic sport automatic gearbox and produces 190 bhp and 400 Nm of maximum torque between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm. The SUV is said to have a 7.9-second 0 to 100 kmph acceleration time and a 213 kmph maximum speed. For improved driving performance, it also has mechanical features including hill start assistance, hill descent control, enhanced driving performance (DTC) and electronically controlled Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks (ADB-X).
Six airbags, an antilock braking system (ABS) with brake assist, attentiveness assistance, dynamic stability control (DSC) with dynamic traction control (DTC) and cornering brake control (CBC) are among the safety features of the Shadow Edition that provide a safe driving experience.
