BMW India has just launched the updated M340i with a price of Rs 74.90 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing upgraded aesthetics, interior upgrades and advanced technology. This latest version introduces a premium edge to the M340i with subtle design tweaks, added features as standard and an option of two new paint schemes.
Updated BMW M340i features
The M340i’s sporty aesthetic is further accentuated by a sleek, blacked-out theme introduced through BMW’s LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) update. Key styling elements include M Light Shadowline accents for the headlamps and a 19-inch jet-black alloy wheel design (style 995M) that pairs well with red brake callipers.
Inside, the M340i now boasts all-black Varnasca leather upholstery with M-themed accents. The Curved Display now runs on the updated OS8.5, and there’s a new red centre marker on the steering wheel, reminiscent of BMW’s full M models. Additional premium touches include a carbon fibre interior trim, an M High Gloss Shadowline and a distinctive anthracite headliner.
The M340i’s tech highlights include a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control and a welcome light carpet.
Under the hood, the M340i retains its powerful 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine, delivering an impressive 374bhp and 500Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system, the M340i can sprint from 0-100 km/h in a blistering 4.4 seconds.
