Bajaj Auto has dropped a teaser for its forthcoming CNG bike. The new motorbike will be introduced on July 5th. The latest teaser provides several details regarding the upcoming motorbike. The motorbike would include a switch that allows the rider to switch between fuel and CNG.

There are currently no details available regarding the motorbike. However, it is believed to be in the 100 cc to 125 cc segment. The seat would be flat, with a round LED headlight at the front. Since it is intended to be a commuter motorcycle, a simple and comfortable suspension configuration is expected. The CNG cylinder is hidden from view in the spy photos, thus it is either behind the seat or beneath the fuel tank.

The upcoming CNG motorbike will likely change the industry and create history as the first of its kind globally.

The CNG bike, known internally as ‘Bruzer’, could be given a new name when it is released, maybe one of the names recently trademarked by Bajaj. Bajaj believes that the CNG motorbike will reduce operating expenses by 50% when compared to petrol-only motorcycles in the same category.

Once introduced, there will be no direct competitors for Bajaj’s CNG bike. It would still, however, compete with the traditional commuters that Honda, TVS and Hero in India.
