For Indian customers, Bajaj Auto has unveiled the brand-new Chetak 3201 Special Indian. This latest version of the electric vehicle is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.30 lakh. Based on the highest-spec Premium model of the two-wheeler, this new electric scooter version will also be available on Amazon beginning on August 5.

The Chetak 3201 Special Edition has been upgraded in several ways compared to the EV’s standard model. To differentiate the electric scooter from the standard Premium model, the firm has added scuff plates and a two-tone quilted seat.

The Special Edition Chetak has a TFT display with configurable themes, turn-by-turn navigation, audio control and call notifications, among other features. Additionally, this comes with the TecPac software package pre-installed, which offers the scooter features like hill hold control and “Sport” ride mode.

The Chetak 3201 Special Edition has a longer range but keeps the same 3.2 kWh battery pack as the Premium variant. This special variant, according to Bajaj, has an improved range of up to 136 km on a single charge over the ARAI-certified 127 km of the Premium model.  The maximum speed stays constant at 73 km/h, offering a balance of performance and efficiency.
