Bajaj Auto Limited has announced its sales figures for November 2024, reporting a 5% year-on-year increase in total sales, reaching 4,21,640 units compared to 4,03,003 units in November 2023. The growth was primarily driven by robust export performance.

November 2024 sales highlights:

  • Two-wheelers:
    • Domestic sales declined by 7% to 2,03,611 units (November 2023: 2,18,597).
    • Exports surged by 26% to 1,64,465 units (November 2023: 1,30,451).
    • Total two-wheeler sales grew 5% to 3,68,076 units.
  • Commercial vehicles:
    • Domestic sales fell 5% to 37,243 units (November 2023: 39,147).
    • Exports increased by 10% to 16,321 units (November 2023: 14,808).
    • Total commercial vehicle sales were nearly flat, with a 1% decline to 53,564 units.
  • Overall performance:
    • Domestic sales declined by 7% to 2,40,854 units.
    • Exports rose 24% to 1,80,786 units.

Year-to-date (YTD) April-November 2024 performance:

  • Total sales for April-November 2024 stood at 32,24,907 units, a 9% increase over the same period last year.
  • Domestic sales grew by 8% to 20,12,017 units, while exports increased by 11% to 12,12,890 units.

The sales figures include contributions from Chetak Technology Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bajaj Auto Limited.

Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, highlighted the strong export growth as a key driver, offsetting domestic market challenges in November.
